There is something wonderfully sociable about discovering wine together. Whether you are planning a celebration with friends, looking for something different for a dinner party or organising a corporate event, Caprilla brings the wine tasting experience to you.
We host private wine tastings and corporate events in London, taking care of all the details so that you can simply relax and enjoy the occasion. We bring the wines, glasses and everything needed for the tasting — and, if you wish, we can also provide antipasti and grazing platters to accompany the wines.
Your Tasting:
Every Caprilla tasting is tailored to the occasion and to your guests. A typical evening might begin with a sparkling aperitif before moving through a carefully chosen flight of white and red wines and finishing with something sweet.
Along the way, we'll talk about the wines, where they come from, what makes them distinctive and, most importantly, what you think of them. Our tastings are relaxed and interactive rather than formal — there is plenty of conversation, questions are always encouraged and we can add a wine quiz or a little friendly competition to make the evening even more fun.
You can leave the wine selection entirely to us or choose a particular theme. Perhaps you'd like to explore the wines of Tuscany, compare Old World and New World styles, discover lesser-known grape varieties, focus on sparkling wines, or simply taste a selection of really good wines that we think your guests will enjoy.
Private Parties:
A Caprilla tasting is a great way to bring people together for a birthday, anniversary, hen party, dinner party or simply an evening with friends. We can make the tasting as informal or as structured as you like, adapting the wines, format and food to suit your group and the occasion.
Corporate Events:
Wine tasting also makes a wonderfully relaxed corporate event — whether for team building, entertaining clients, celebrating a milestone or simply bringing colleagues together away from the usual work environment. We can create a bespoke tasting around your group, venue and budget, from an informal after-work event to a more structured guided tasting with food and a wine quiz.
